India issues a safety advisory for nationals in Saudi Arabia, urging them to stay indoors during aerial attacks and avoid sharing missile interception footage.

As regional tensions persist, New Delhi has stepped up diplomatic caution regarding the safety of its diaspora in the Gulf. According to reports, the Indian government has issued a fresh safety advisory urging its citizens residing in Saudi Arabia to exercise extreme vigilance and remain indoors during aerial attacks.

Regional Threats and Safety Directives

The directive comes in the wake of escalating security challenges, marked by missile and drone threats in the region. As per reports, Indian nationals have been explicitly instructed to stay indoors during aerial bombardments and Houthi strikes to minimize exposure to falling debris and crossfire.

In addition to personal safety protocols, authorities have strongly advised citizens to refrain from recording or sharing footage of missile and drone interceptions on social media platforms. Security analysts note that such restrictions are standard operational procedures aimed at preventing the dissemination of sensitive tactical data during active hostilities.

The Human Cost of Ongoing Tensions

The urgency behind the updated advisory is underscored by recent casualties resulting from ongoing regional volatility. An attack that occurred near the Riyadh airport resulted in the tragic death of one Indian national, alongside eleven others sustaining injuries. According to current updates, six of the injured individuals remain hospitalized receiving medical care.

The incident has heightened anxiety within the large expatriate community living and working across the Kingdom. Indian diplomatic missions in the region remain on high alert, closely monitoring developments and maintaining communication channels to assist affected citizens.
