Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been hiked across cities starting October 1, 2026, just ahead of the festive season, while domestic rates remain unchanged.

Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been increased from October 1, raising operating costs for restaurants, businesses and other commercial establishments ahead of the festive season, while domestic cooking gas prices remain unchanged, offering relief to household consumers.

Impact on 19-kg Cylinders and City-Wise Rates

The price revision directly affects the 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders utilized extensively by the hospitality and business sectors. According to reports, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has increased by ₹62.50 in Delhi, bringing the new rate to ₹2,810.

The exact rate hike varies by city across the country. Businesses relying on commercial cylinders must now factor in these revised tariffs as peak consumer demand builds up for the festivities.

Domestic LPG and Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) Updates

Even as commercial establishments absorb the shock of higher energy overheads, domestic cooking gas rates have been kept untouched. According to reports, domestic LPG rates remain completely unchanged.

Concurrently, other energy adjustments accompanied the start of the month. Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) costs also increased by ₹16 per litre starting today.
